Dexia Asset Management appoints Cécile de Lasteyrie as Head of SRI Development

Cécile de Lasteyrie has been appointed Head of SRI Development of Dexia Asset Management (Dexia AM) as of December 2011. She will be the ambassador for Dexia AM’s expertise in Sustainable & Responsible Investing (SRI) and help in defining the company’s SRI strategy in coordination with the Global Head of SRI, Isabelle Cabie, and her team of SRI analysts.

Dexia AM’s SRI fund quality reconfirmed by Novethic label

For the third year in a row, Dexia Asset Management has been awarded the Novethic SRI label across all asset classes.
Novethic has awarded its SRI labels to 18 of Dexia Asset Management’s (Dexia AM) investment products, across their SRI fund range.

Isabelle Cabie, Head of SRI at Dexia AM, said: "Receiving the Novethic label for a third consecutive year confirms the quality of the SRI process developed at Dexia AM since inception in 1996.The label is proof of the quality and transparency of our SRI funds in the eyes of our clients and within the industry."

To obtain a renowned Novethic SRI label, a fund must meet four requirements: an ESG analysis on at least 90% of the portfolio, a transparent SRI selection process, regular updates on the SRI features in the portfolio and keeping investors regularly informed about the funds in the portfolio.

To obtain one of Novethic’s industry renowned SRI labels, a fund must meet four requirements:

An ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) analysis on at least 90% of the portfolio, with all three factors being systematically accounted for;
The SRI selection process has to be presented transparently and publicly by the fund promoter;
The manager has to provide investors with regular updates on the SRI features of the securities in the portfolio;
Investors have to be kept fully informed about the funds in the portfolio.
