Dexia AM: engagement report

[13/09/10]

Dexia AM commits itself on a daily basis to encouraging companies to improve their corporate governance and sustainable development practices.

This mainly involves urging them to reduce their ESG-based risks, to improve their communications regarding these criteria and to safeguard and enhance their shareholder value. These objectives are based on the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), of which Dexia AM is a signatory.

Our sustainability activities are based on four foundations:

  • collaborative engagement initiatives1
  • voting rights
  • ongoing dialogue with companies
  • promotion of sustainable development

You may review our various activities in our “Engagement Report 2009”.

for example). They generally deal with a specific subject and are an effective method of pooling resources
